1. Flight reductions at major U.S. airports are causing ripple effects for advisors
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is implementing phased reductions in air-traffic operations (up to ~10%) at some of the busiest U.S. markets due to staffing strain amid a government shutdown. The article includes commentary from a travel advisor and a former air traffic controller on the cascading impact of cancellations/delays.
Why It Matters:
Operational risk: Flight reductions mean higher chances of disruptions, posing challenges for itinerary planning, rebooking, and client satisfaction.
Need for contingency planning: Advisors may need to build in buffer time, choose flexible tickets, or alternative routing.
Margin & cost implications: Delays or cancellations may lead to added cost, reduced margin, or crisis-management work (which can erode profitability).

Ghent, Belgium
Belgium's best-kept secret offers all the medieval charm of Bruges—canals, cobblestones, Gothic architecture—but with vibrant student energy, authentic local life, and better value. St. Bavo's Cathedral houses world-famous art, the medieval castle dominates the skyline, and the waterfront cafés provide perfect people-watching. Voyagr Update
Our original goal with Voyagr was to raise outside funding and offer the platform for free. In the last month, we have decided not to take outside funding at this point and continue building. Since we are not taking outside funding, we have decided to charge a small monthly fee starting in January.
Individual advisors will have 3 tiers to choose from: Free, Pro ($5.00 per month), and Elite ($10.00 per month).
Advisors who are part of an agency will have a discount, and the agency decides to pay the fee or have the advisor pay the fee.
Our early users who have been with us since the beginning will not be charged a fee.
We have plans in the future to launch other monthly membership benefits and will keep you updated on those.
